Beginning

Ch.1 Beginning

The coldness of the night reminded me of my warmer days, where Mother would prepare steaming meals and took care of my every need. I'm not a mama's boy, but I certainly appreciate my family.

Father was never around much, he basically abandoned me and Mother with little money and support. All I know is that he ran away with a prostitute to Las Vegas, Nevada and was never heard from again. I was only 5 when this happened.

Mother juggled 3 to 4 jobs a day, supporting me with the utmost difficulties. Mother's side of the family; Grandma and Grandpa died not so long ago. Aunt Jill and Uncle Pal were halfway across the world. Father's side of the family neglected us and moved without notice, leaving Mother hopeless.

Even though I was living well, she forgot to take care of herself. Mother was beautiful, glowing with kindness and love but slowly she became an emotional wreck. She had to take pills now to keep her from killing herself. I never understood why Father left her, she loved him with all her heart, she never raised her voice against his, never angered him, but I guess she couldn't satisfy him either way.

All my adolescent years were like a roller-coaster, most generally a struggle to fit in. I'm what you would consider a "nerd," a computer based one to be more exact. The world of a PC is intriguing to me. Especially scripting, I love experimenting with scripts and programming language. I thought I had found love a few times, but that was all deceit and unnecessary heartbreaks, I don't think i'll love the same way again.
